Dr. Vivek Gupta (P.T.) is an expert in physiotherapy & acupuncture.

Training & Experience in Physiotherapy

Dr. Gupta has a post graduate degree in physiotherapy and experience of over 16 years in the field of Physio. He is also a trained acupuncturist with over 13 years’ experience.

Dr. Gupta started his journey of physiotherapy in 2001 from CAEHS under CCS University, Meerut, and did his internship from Hindu Rao Hospital, MCD’S biggest hospital in Delhi. He completed his Masters in Physio in 2008. He has vast experience of treating children with special needs and geriatric patients.

During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Gupta worked in several special schools, centres and old age homes, as well as a military hospital. During his postgraduation, he was in charge of the physiotherapy department of Meerut Medical College. During this time, Dr. Gupta trained numerous interns and students.
His education has helped Dr. Gupta specialise in many techniques of manual therapy like Mulligan, FIMM, Maitland, NDT, Taping, wheelchair training for paralytics, and more.

After completing post-graduation, Dr. Gupta worked in many hospitals as a senior therapist, including Prakash hospital, Jyoti Charitable Centre etc.

Specialisation in Acupuncture

In 2009, Dr. Gupta moved to Hyderabad to master the science of Acupuncture, a drugless therapy to relieve multiple ailments, including chronic pain.

  During his training, he travelled to different cities, like Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji and Surat, to gather knowledge and experience of acupuncture.  

In 2011, Dr. Gupta started an acupuncture clinic in Delhi with world renowned acupuncturist, Prof. Dr. P.B. Lohiya. Dr. Gupta headed Dr. Lohiya’s acupuncture centre in Delhi for over a decade.

Dr. Gupta has been a panelist for various television news channels, including NDTV, DUB news, Metro Mat, Sanvad, and more.  

His articles have also been published in many newspapers. He has been invited as an Eminent Speaker at several national and international Conferences of physiotherapy and acupuncture.  

As a renowned therapist in Delhi, Dr. Gupta’s of clients include numerous well-known businessmen, industrialists, politicians, sportsmen and Bollywood celebrities.
